5G-LEO: Open Air Interface™ extension for 5G satellite links
This project extends the OpenAirInterface™ 3GPP stack to support satellite systems in non-geostationary orbits. The expected outcome is a new publicly available version of the open source OAI software library, featuring enhanced capabilities to simulate and test 5G satellite communication links.
